We stayed at this superb small hotel in beautiful and quiet rural surroundings. The host was excellent and provided a first-class breakfast each day. The traditional French farmhouse feel of the property was lovely, and we enjoyed seeing the adorable 3-day-old donkey and the very friendly cats. The breakfast was delicious and we would definitely recommend this hotel to others. We look forward to returning in the future.
Can recommend this hotel.

A hidden gem in the countryside. Loved the peaceful setting, charming room, and delicious breakfast. The only downside was the internet connection - it worked about as well as a carrier pigeon. Brilliant!

Great value for the money! The room at La Barillerie was spacious and comfortable, with a fantastic shower. The location was perfect - quiet and peaceful in the countryside, yet still close enough to the town. The staff was extremely welcoming and informative, making us feel right at home. Plus, our daughter absolutely loved the animals on the property - such a bonus!
The morning meal could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

Charming old winery with a view of the garden from the terrace. Great outdoor activities nearby. The bar was a nice touch.
Oh, what a shame that the nearest airport is so close! Such a disappointment.

The hosts were super friendly and the whole place had a cool farmhouse vibe. We loved hanging out with the three-day-old donkey and playing with the super friendly cats. The breakfast was top-notch too, and we can't wait to come back and tell all our friends how great it is. Plus, there were so many activities to do in the surroundings like horse riding and hiking. It was the perfect place for a fun-filled vacation with friends!
If there was one thing we'd ask for, it's a better nightlife scene nearby. We had a blast during the day with all the activities, but as young party-going people, we would have loved to have some more options for nighttime fun.

A delightful gem! This hidden countryside retreat provided a warm welcome and a relaxing atmosphere. the beautifully furnished breakfast room was a highlight, offering the most delicious spread we've ever experienced in France. Plus, the direct access from our bedroom to the garden was a lovely touch. We also loved the friendly cats that would join us if we invited them in.
